What's important?
When designing your ceremony, it’s important to consider a number of things. When I meet with you, or talk on the phone we can will chat through the key areas. These are just triggers to get you thinking and talking together about what's important. The first place to start is to set aside some time to talk together about some of the following:
• What does getting married mean for you both?
• Why are you getting married now?
• What do you love about each other?
• What sort of ceremony do you want?
• What weddings have you seen that you have loved, or not and why?
• Have you had a special dream for your wedding ceremony?
• What’s important for you both in choosing your celebrant?
• What role do you want your parents, family and friends to play?
• Is there someone that you want to acknowledge on the special day?
• Are there any special cultural elements that you want included, or something that symbolises your love for each other and the commitment that you are making,?
